Satisfying Your Mouth with Good Things - Psalms 103:5

In Psalms one hundred and three David said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies”, and in chapter one hundred three and verse five of Psalms David said, “Who satisfies your mouth with good things” where we read,

Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The verse begins, Who satisfies your mouth with good things; David began with the words, “who satisfies your mouth” or “who, Jehovah God, sated, fulfilled and surfeited your, the readers and listeners of David's, orifice in the face used for drinking, eating and speaking” “with good things” which means “by the use of pleasant, agreeable and excellent acts and deeds”. David said Jehovah God fulfills and surfeits his readers and listeners' “mouths” by the use of pleasant and agreeable acts and deeds.

The verse continues,so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. David added the words, “so that your youth” or “so your, David's readers and listeners', youthful years or early life” “is renewed” which means “exists as made anew, repaired and rebuilt” “like the eagle's” or “similar and in likeness to the griffon-vulture or other large bird of prey”. David said Jehovah God would restore their youthful years like large vultures or eagles.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how David said Jehovah God would make it so his and his readers and listeners lives were filled with pleasant and agreeable acts and deeds, and God would restore the youthful part of their lives like the large “eagle's”. God wants to fulfill us, and when we yield our lives to His Son Jesus who was sent into the world to die on the cross for our sins, He will forgive us, grant us everlasting life and satisfy and renew us with His goodness, kindness and perpetual youth.

Next time David says, “the LORD executes righteousness and judgment for all”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
