A Plague of the Horse, Mule, Camel, Donkey and All Beasts Zechariah 14:15

In the book of Zechariah, Zechariah said, “Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance, and in chapter fourteen and verse fifteen of Zechariah, Zechariah shared how Jehovah God said there, “shall be the plague of the horse, mule, camel, ass and all the beasts” where we read,

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass,

and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

The verse reads, And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, ... Zechariah began with the words, “and so shall be the plague” or “and therefore, then, wherefore and on this account will exist the blow, slaughter, pestilence and fatal strike” “of the horse” which means “pertaining to the swift or chariot horse”, “of the mule”or “pertaining to the scuff or burro”, “of the camel” which means “pertaining to the beast of burden or labor bearing camel”, “and of the ass” or “and pertaining to the donkey”. Zechariah shared how the pestilence and fatal strike would also affect the “horse, mule, camel and donkey”

The verse goes on to say, “... and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague. Zechariah continued with the words, “and of all the beasts” or “and each, every, the whole and everyone of the cattle, livestock and wild beasts” “that shall be in the tents” which means “that will exist within the encampments, droves, hosts and sacred courts”, “as this plague” or “similar and in likeness to this, the current, blow, slaughter, pestilence and fatal strike”. Zechariah shared how every one of the cattle and wild animals will exist within the encampments similar to the slaughter and pestilence.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn through Zechariah how the pestilence will affect the animals including the “horse, mule, camel, donkey and all the wild animals”. Although God offers salvation through His Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, not everyone will surrender their life to Him. Those who do will be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life, and those who do not will be subject to the destruction and devastation from Jehovah God, and woe be to those who refuse to yield to Him as “Savior and Lord”.

Next time Zechariah shares what happens to, “every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
