Edit

Edit. Do-over. Mulligan. Try Again. What do these imply? An error, a lesser attempt, a miss-shot, another need to fulfill. In other words, a human was attempting some feat, some effort or some accomplishment and didn't quite make the mark desired. Sometimes it has to do with typing, and other times it has to do with golf. Sometimes it has to do with relationships, and other times it is as simple as trying to make a basket. Whatever, whenever, and however the venture was undertaken, sometimes there is nothing like an edit to try it all over again.

Errors are common, and mistakes occur every day. For some things there are no edits, and that which is done is final, however for other things there are second, third, fourth or more re-attempts that may be made. Some things cannot be changed, and other things cannot. The key is to know the difference between the two, and then change the things that can be, and accept the things that cannot.

This prayer helps: “God help me to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference,” and if it is followed, editing will not only be a welcomed trait but also a followed one.

Until tomorrow...Why Say More?
