Attuned

What be those sounds unheard but there

the motion radio waves

of country tunes or opera

of news or rock enclaves

Of bantering voices pontificate

their bents and strong reproach

of violins and strong trombones

and words from hometown coach

The classical and easy chords

The rap, the blues, the prance

the easy listening and strong hip hop

the Latin music dance

And whether pop or R&B

or reggae, jazz or dance

alternative and lecture thrones

and orchestra by chance

A frequency be all that need
and tuner hears their sound

when dial moved and set aright

the choice of songs abound

The Lord is speaking too His sound

His voice to thee alone

if thou dost tune still ear to Him

His words and glory roam

And while thou tune and listen close

to all the other loves

be sure to turn thine hearing node

to words from God above
