Most Important - Equipped for Battle

What is the most important thing in a person's life? Is it a job, a car, a house or toy? Is it some food, a drink, a television show or work out? What exactly is given the most time, the most effort or the most money? What gets the largest part of attention, passion or emotion? In most cases, that which gets the priority is really what is most important in a person's life, and over and over again during this season, one has opportunity to reevaluate what is most important to them.

“It's a Wonderful Life”; “A Christmas Carol”; “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”; “Miracle on 34th Street”; All of these have a certain common theme. That which is most valued becomes a beacon for change, and sometimes the oblivion of living day to day shields what is most valuable in life.

Maybe as a person engages themselves in this most valuable season, those things and activities that are temporary will be seen for their little value compared to relationships, caring for others and genuine generosity. Perhaps the greatest part of this time of year is that it gives mankind a reminder to examine themselves and find out if what is most important has the greatest attention in their lives.

Until tomorrow...Why Say More?
