Castigating Fountains

What be thou there oh flowing fount
both unrestrained and willed
pouring forth thy sacred tongue
of that thy hearers frill

Thou precious stream of rampant rant
pitch forth both high and known
with less regard to likeness lived
in waters there below

For crushing dreams and toxic acts
thy pounding hilts doth spray
to living creatures self indulged
thy holiness betrayed

For punitive thy well masked guise
with prideful righteous robe
though healing outward doth appear
not satisfied thine own

With prideful heart thy pillage make
with litigated glee
devouring those thy threat'ning foe
with punitive debris

The carnage left below thy wake
shall never be enough
deceivers fall beneath thy will
for just be thy rebuff
Thy holiness exceeds the rest
the total they beneath
devouring paths of righteousness
thy waters doth bequeath

Forgotten be thy swelling source
for thou must too be fed
lest dried up be thy raging flood
and others be misled

And sit thou will with little spout
thy retribution faced
for that thou gave thou hast received
thy jealousy replaced
