Your Name Remembered - Psalms 45:17

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth”, and in chapter forty five and verse seventeen of Psalms David said, “I will make your name to be remembered” where we read,

I will make your name to be remembered in all generations:

therefore shall the people praise you for ever and ever.

The verse begins, I will make your name to be remembered in all generations: David began with the words, “I will make your name” or “I, David, shall cause your, Jehovah God's, reputation, fame and glory” “to be remembered” which means “to exist as recalled, called to mind and recorded” “in all generations” or “within each, every, the whole and every period, age, habitation and dwelling place of people”. David said he would cause the reputation, fame and glory of Jehovah God to be brought to mind in every period and age.

The verse continues, therefore shall the people praise you for ever and ever.” David added the words, “therefore shall the people” or “then, wherefore and on this account will the human beings both male and female” “praise you for ever and ever” which means “give thanks, laud, revere and worship you, Jehovah God, for long duration, everlasting, evermore, perpetually and into the continuing future”. David said the result of him causing generations to remember Jehovah God would be that they would give Him thanks, reverence and worship throughout all eternity.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how the result of David sharing about the “royal king”, his “daughter” or bride and her offspring would be that people would honor and worship Him forever. God loves people, and His desire is to have a personal relationship with everyone through His Son Jesus. Jesus was sent into the world to die on the cross for the sins of everyone, and when we believe and trust in Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and allow us to live with Him in Heaven forever. There we will give Him thanks, honor, praise and worship forever and ever.

Next time we begin a new chapter and see David say,God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Instead of Your Fathers - Psalms 45:16

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace”, and in chapter forty five and verse sixteen of Psalms David said, “Instead of your fathers shall be your children” where we read,

Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth.

The verse begins, Instead of your fathers shall be your children, ... David began with the words, “Instead of your fathers” or “in the place and position belonging to the immediate male ancestors and progenitors of your, the royal king's daughter” “shall be your children” which means “will exist your, the offspring and progeny of the royal kings daughter”. David said the offspring of the royal ruler's daughter would exist in her “fathers'” position.

The verse goes on to say, “... whom you may make princes in all the earth.” David continued with the words, “whom you may make princes” or “and toward those children, the royal king will produce and provide rulers, chiefs, officials and captains” “in all the earth” which means “within the entire and whole land, country, territory and world”. David said the royal king would produce leaders, captains and chiefs from the offspring of the royal king's daughter.

When we think through the words in this verse, we see how David declared the offspring of the royal ruler's daughter to not only be in her “fathers'” place but also to be put in positions of authority and rule. God's desire is to have people believe and trust in His Son Jesus as their “Savior and Lord”, and this is why He sent Him to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we surrender our lives to Him, we become the bride of Christ and invite others to become believers in Jesus. Those who yield to Him will rule and reign with Him, (See Revelation 5:10) and for all eternity they shall worship and serve the “Royal King and Messiah Jesus”.

Next time David says,I will make your name to be remembered, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Gladness and Rejoicing - Psalms 45:15

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you”, and in chapter forty five and verse fifteen of Psalms David said, “with gladness and rejoicing shall they be bought” where we read,

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

The verse begins, With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: David began with the words, “with gladness” or “accompanied with joy, mirth and pleasure” “and rejoicing” which means “and exceeding exuberance, joy and liveliness” “shall they be brought” or “will the royal king's daughter and her companions will be carried, lead and bore along”. David said the “royal king's daughter” and her “virgin companions” would be lead into him with pleasure and exuberant joy.

The verse continues, they shall enter into the king's palace.” David added the words, “they shall enter into” or “the royal king's daughter and her companions will come in and be enumerated within” “the king's palace” which means “the royal ruler's temple, nave or sanctuary”. David said the “royal ruler's daughter” along with her virgin companions would come into the temple or sanctuary of the royal ruler.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we are made aware through David of the demeanor of the “royal ruler's daughter” and those who accompany her. All of them will be filled with joy and exuberance as they come in to the sanctuary or temple of the king. Even so, God will allow every person who surrenders to His Son Jesus to be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life with Him. This shall cause them to come into His Heavenly temple with exuberant joy in fellowship with Him throughout all eternity.

Brought to the King in Needlework Raiment - Psalms 45:14

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold”, and in chapter forty five and verse fourteen of Psalms David said, “she shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework” where we read,

She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework:

the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you.

The verse begins, She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: David began with the words, “she shall be brought” or “she, the royal king's daughter, will be carried, borne along and lead” “unto the king” which means “toward the royal ruler” “in raiment of needlework” or “within clothing, apparel and garments of variegated color which was specifically embroidery”. David said the “royal king's daughter' would be lead to him while wearing embroidered garments of variegated color.

The verse continues, the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you.” David added the words, “the virgins” or “the maids or young girls” “her companions” which means “the female attendants of the royal ruler's daughter” “that follow her” or “who come behind and after her, the royal ruler's daughter” “shall be brought unto you” which means “will come, enter and be lead toward you, royal ruler”. David said the young maidens who were the attendants of the “royal ruler's daughter” would come after her and be lead to the royal rulers.

When we think through the words in this verse, we see how the daughter of the royal ruler is adorned with multicolored finely embroidered garments and lead to him. Like a bride lead to a wedding, the royal ruler's daughter is presented with her attendants coming after her as she is brought to the king. God's desire is to have a personal relationship with every person through His Son Jesus, and when we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us eternal life and clothe us in raiment that is fit for Heaven and the marriage supper of the lamb. (See Revelation 19:9) Everyone is invited to come to Jesus and receive the blessing of being His well-adorned bride forever and ever.

Next time David says, with gladness and rejoicing shall they be bought, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

The King's Daughter Glorious Within - Psalms 45:13

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; forget also your own people, and your father's house. So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your Lord; and worship you him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor”, and in chapter forty five and verse thirteen of Psalms David said, “the king's daughter is all glorious within” where we read,

The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

The verse begins, The king's daughter is all glorious within: David began with the words, “the king's daughter” or “the royal rulers' female offspring or progeny” “is all glorious within” which means “exists as wholly and totally stately, wealthy and rich toward the inside or faceward”. David said the “daughter” of the “royal rulers” was wholly stately and rich on the inside.

The verse goes on to say,her clothing is of wrought gold.” David continued with the words, “her clothing” or “the royal ruler's raiment, garments and apparel” “is of wrought gold” which means “exists as plaited, filigree or checkered work in gold metal for the setting of gyms”. David said the “royal ruler's daughter” wore garments that were woven or plaited with gold.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn about the adornment of the royal ruler's daughter. She wore stately and wealthy apparel that was woven with golden placements perhaps to include fine gyms. In Revelation chapter three and verse five Jesus told the church in Sardis, “He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels”, and Jehovah God desires to “clothe” the “bride” of His Son Jesus with His righteousness. Anyone who yields to Jesus as their personal “Savior and Lord” will be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life with God. The regal adornment of the “royal king's daughter” is a reminder to all who read David's words that God will clothe all who believe and trust in Him with His righteousness which shall be worn forever and unto age without end.

Next time David says, she shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

The Daughter of Tyre - Psalms 45:12

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; forget also your own people, and your father's house. So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your Lord; and worship you him”, and in chapter forty five and verse twelve of Psalms David said, “the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift” where we read,

And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift;

even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor.

The verse begins, And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; David began with the words, “and the daughter” or “and the female offspring, progeny and princess” “of Tyre” which means “belonging to Tyre which means a rock and was a Phoenician city on the Mediterranean coast” “shall be there” or “will exist in that place and location” “with a gift” which means “having and possessing a tribute, offering, oblation, sacrifice and present”. David said the princess who belongs to the Phoenician city of “Tyre” would appear with a present.

The verse continues, even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor.” David added the words, “even the rich” or “indeed and also the wealthy and noble” “among the people” which means “who dwell with human beings both male and female” “shall entreat your favor” or “will beg, pray and plead for your, the royal king's, front, face and presence”. David said that wealthy people would beg for the countenance of the “royal king”.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see through David how foreigners and wealthy people would seek the “favor” of the “royal king”. The “daughter or princess of Tyre” would arrive at the wedding with a present, and the wealthy people who lived among the people would longingly desire to have the “royal king's” blessing, presence and face. God's desire is to have a personal relationship with everyone in the world, and He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind so they would not be separated from Him. When we submit our lives to Jesus, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and make us to be His “bride”, and even so all the world shall one day bow to Him and declare Him Lord regardless of whether they yielded to Him on earth or not. (See Romans 14:11)

The King Desiring Your Beauty - Psalms 45:11

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; forget also your own people, and your father's house”, and in chapter forty five and verse eleven of Psalms David said, “so shall the king greatly desire your beauty” where we read,

So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your Lord; and worship you him.

The verse begins, So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: David began with the words, “So shall the king” or “ also and indeed will the royal ruler” “greatly desire” which means “ covet, wait longingly, want and long for” “your beauty” or “your, the daughter's, visual aspect and appearance”. David said as the “daughter” leaves her kindred, companions and father's home, the “royal ruler” would long for her beautiful appearance.

The verse goes on to say, for he is your Lord; and worship you him.” David continued with the words, “for he is your Lord” or “because, since and on account that he, the royal king, exists as your, the daughter's, Adonay or firm, strong and sovereign master”; “and worship you him” which means “and you, the daughter, bow down, prostrate, make obeisance to and reverence him, the royal ruler”. David told the “daughter” that the “royal ruler” existed as her “sovereign master”, and she was to bow down and make obeisance to Him.

When we think through the words in this verse, we learn through David how the visual appearance of the “daughter” who left behind her kindred, companions and father's home would be strongly longed for by the “royal ruler”. Jesus Christ is God's groom, and the Church is His bride, and anyone who surrenders their life to Him as their personal “Savior and Lord” will become the “bride” whom He desires. God loves people, and even as this “royal ruler” desired the “daughter” who left everything for him, He will forgive the sins, grant eternal life and join Himself to His “bride” to everyone who desires to worship Him forever and ever.

Next time David says, the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
