joy exuberant flow

ecstatic joy

Elated by the
prospect of

to be

celebrants direct their love
in blissful
harmony
And yet this

was not quite

we must
contend that life began
when cells
began to part
For if the
cells within the womb
were never to
divide
the birth of
one to celebrate
would never
have survived
And thus must
be another day
and n'er one
not observe

for those who
have the nerve
Gestation's

for weeks and
months and days
within the
nine of marked time
from birth to
backward trace
If birth be
March and counting nine

perhaps is
June or mid July
conception
day was mapped
Or counting

conception

caste
Oh that one
should bring alive
another
gleeful play
where merry
lively laughing friends
bring jolly
cheer and praise
The thrill of
great conception day
exultant
perky treat
contented and
quite overjoyed
and upbeat
quite deplete
But joy and
gladness disappear
if no
conception be
no joyous
sound or glad-filled hearts
shall ever
share a beat
The pleasant
thrill of birthday cake
be just a
waste of thought
for if cells
have no life within

none but aught
And pleasant
sparkle on cloud nine
shall never
see the light
of blessed
friend and family ones
the mirthful
clan's delight
Nor will the
pleased tickle the air
with sounds
of birthday song
where blessed
pep and chipper lives
quite never
do belong
So favored be
the captivate
whose great
conception prized
who blest the
world through sacred soul
exultant
triumph high
