Gathering of the Destitiute

There once was a would be king who was being chased by the standing king. Because of the threat of this prominent young aspirer, the standing king put a bounty on his head. The young man ran and hid in a cage, and those who heard about him being there gathered around him too. The trouble was these who gathered were in debt, they were in distress, they were discontent, but they were also without a true leader. When the young man looked about him, he knew through this motley crew, he would be protected from the purposed king, and he was.

Today many who are in distress, many who are in debt, many who are discontent will gather once again in "caves" of sort to rely upon another would be king. The difficulty here is that this would be king has also been rejected by many other kings, and although it may appear that he is far away, he shall reign in the kingdom someday whether the kings that reign now like it or not.

Simply put, why not to church today?

Until tomorrow... Why Say More?
