Oh for Multiplicity

It happens every day. There is a need to be here at the same time that there is a need to be there. If he could be doing this at the same time as he was doing that, everything would be better. If she could handle this job and that job simultaneously, both factions would be happy. Of course, then there is the time when there is a need to be in three, four, and five places at the same time. What is needed is multiplicity, i.e. having the ability to split oneself into two or more parts so that each one could and would do everything that is required. In other words, there should be more of this busy person.

But then again, could it be, should it be that those who are requiring the attention of this individual should understand that it is only possible for a person to do so much with his or her life? Is there room for realization that this busy human being might just have a few other venues other than the one in which they demand his or her attention? But then again, there is the measure of importance now isn't there, and of course each delegation demands that theirs is the most important, right?

Selection. Choice. Decision. If one chooses this path, that path is slighted, and if one chooses that direction, this direction is offended. What ever is one to do? How ever is one to fulfill all the requests at the same time? Oh for multiplicity! Oh for multiples! Oh for...simplicity? Ah yes, there it is! The answer is simplify, simplify, simplify, and for the rest, ye shall have to wait in line.

Until tomorrow...Why Say More?
