Death and Resurrection by Man 1 Corinthians 15:21

Paul the apostle told the church members in Corinth, Christ risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept, and in chapter fifteen and verse twenty-one of First Corinthians, Paul told the church members, by man came also the resurrection of the dead”, where we read:

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

The verse begins, For since by man came death, ...” Paul began with the word, “for” or “even as, indeed, no doubt, seeing then, verily and therefore” “since” or “when now, of cause and forasmuch as” “by man” which means “through way of a male human being” “came death” or “the separation of the soul and body by which the life on earth is ended”. Paul declared that “death” entered the human race through one certain man.

The verse goes on to say, “ … by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” Paul continued with the words, “by man” which means “through way of a male human being” “came also” which means “even, indeed and therefore” “the resurrection” which means “the rising or raising to life again” “of the dead” or “of those who have breathed their last, lifeless, destitute of life and inanimate”. Paul shared how “the resurrection” entered into the human race through one man as well.

When we meditate upon these words from Paul, we understand him to be referencing Adam through whom every person was and is to experience “death”. However, Jesus Christ made “rising from the dead” available to everyone who will put their faith and trust in Him. Jesus came, not only to save us, but also to provide “resurrection” unto “everlasting life”.

Next time Paul shares with the church members, “in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
