In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon said, “He that observes the wind shall not sow; and he that regards the clouds shall not reap”, and in chapter eleven and verse five of his book Solomon said, “you know not what is the way of the spirit” where we read,
As you know not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all.
The verse reads, “As you know not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child:” Solomon began with the words, “as you know not” or “similar and in likeness that you, Solomon’s readers, are unaware and without discernment” “what is the way of the spirit” which means “to that which is the journey, manner or path pertaining to the breath, mind, vigor, vivacity and disposition”, “nor how the bones” or “no and not in any manner the way the limbs, members and structural bones of the body” “do grow in the womb” which means “increase in size within the belly or body” “of her that is with child” or “belonging to the woman who exists as filled with a baby ”. Solomon said in like manner that his readers were unaware of the manner and journey of the mind and disposition, they were unable to disclose the manner of the skeleton bones increasing in size within the “womb” of a woman.
The verse goes on to say, “even so you know not the works of God who makes all.” Solomon continued with the words, “even so you know not” or “indeed and also you, Solomon’s readers, are unaware of the manner pertaining to” “the works of God” which means “the acts, deeds and speeches belonging to the Supreme Deity” “who makes all” or “who fashions, accomplishes and produces each, every and the whole of things, acts, deeds and speeches”. Solomon told his readers they were also unaware of the acts, deeds and speeches belonging to the Supreme Deity Jehovah God who forms, fashions and produces everything.
When we consider the words in this verse, we learn how Solomon referred to the way his readers were not only unaware of the manner of the mind and disposition and how skeletal bones grow in the “womb” of a woman, but were also unaware of the acts and deeds of Jehovah God who forms and fashions everything. In other words, they were not smarter than God and His ways. God wants us to relate to Him, and He made access for that to be possible when we put our faith and trust in His Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind and was resurrected from the dead after three days. When we submit to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and equip us with His Holy Spirit who will teach us to be confident that God knows and is aware of everything and we can rely upon Him.
Next time Solomon says, “in the morning sow your seed”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
