Paul
the apostle told the church members in Corinth, “Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of light”,
and in chapter
eleven and verse fifteen of Second Corinthians, Paul told the church
members it's not a “great thing if his
ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness”
where we read:
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also
be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be
according to their works.
The verse begins,
“Therefore it is
no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers
of righteousness;” Paul
began with the word, “therefore”
which means “then, accordingly, consequently and these things being
so” “it is no great thing”
or “it is not a grand, abundant, large or numerous thing” “if
his ministers”
which refers to “whether Satan's servants, waiters and attendants”
“also”
or “even or if they” “be
transformed”
which means “changed in figure” “as
the ministers”
or “like the servants or attendants” “of
righteousness”
which means “the state of him who is as he ought to be and the
condition acceptable to God”. Paul did not think it something
unusual or grand that Satan's “servants” are “changed or
altered” into “servants of conditions acceptable to God”.
The verse goes on to say,
“whose end shall
be according to their works.” Paul added
the words, “whose end” which
means “whose termination and end” “shall
be according to” or
“will be down from, through out, toward and along”
“their works”
which means “the servant's business, employment, enterprise,
undertaking and that which they do”. Paul stated that their “final
termination” will be “toward and along” the measure of their
“business and enterprise”.
When we think through
these words of Paul, we see how
Satan uses false “ministers” to do his “handy-work”. Though
they appear to be “ministers of the light”, they are actually
“ministers of darkness and evil”. Jesus Christ shall be the
ultimate judge of such individuals, and the wise servant of God
continues in the word and Spirit of God so they will not be “fooled”.
God delights in His servants of “truth”, and He shall judge those
who “are transformed into ministers of righteousness”
but used by Satan.
Next
time Paul
tells the church members, “as
a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little”,
so read ahead, and we shall join together then,
Until
tomorrow…there is more…
