Hearken now thou current one

to voices in thy past

their wisdom breathed within thy soul

insure thy life shall last

Reverberations constant flow

come trouble, pain or fear

when flagrant cares doth quite abound

and bring forth changeless tears

Decisions much do haunt thy mind

and difficulties rise

when forked road doth make thou choose

the anxious thoughts abide

At lonely times where none seem care

depression's head doth rise

the pleasant phrase of fainted voice

doth guilt and shame demise

Thy mother's words and father's speech

to guide thee every day

where'r losses, gains or victories

do tread thy settled way

Of teachers, pastors, leaders too

of sages young and old

their verbiage lines and wisdom phrase

repeat through memories told

And day by day encountered paths

their passage far and wide

drop golden gyms of memories past

to aid thee in thy bind

And quench not thus their present sounds

from sharing shout nor rant

for guidance will their echo be

when hear their voice thou can't
