All Saints Salute 2 Corinthians 13:13

Paul the apostle told the church members in Corinth, “Greet one another with an holy kiss.”, and in chapter thirteen and verse thirteen of Second Corinthians, Paul told the church members,“all the saints salute” them where we read:

All the saints salute you.
The verse begins, “All the saints...Paul began with the word, “all” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone of” “the saints” which refers to “pure, morally blameless and ceremonially consecrated ones”. Paul referred to the “pure and morally blameless” who were among he and his companions.

The verse continues, salute you Paul added the word, “salute” which means “greet, embrace, welcome, wish well and joyfully receive” “you” which refers to the church members. Those who are “pure and morally blameless” with Paul and his companions “greeted and wished well” to the church members in Corinth.

When we consider these words of Paul, we notice his concern for the church members in Corinth to be “greeted” by the other “saints”. The church of Jesus is one body of people scattered in many places throughout the world, and one group of people may at least “salute” another. Jesus Christ loves His church, and those who read these words should be inspired to “greet and welcome” everyone within the family of God.

Next time Paul finishes his letter by sharing with the church members, “the grace, love and communion of the Lord, so read ahead, and we shall join together then,

Until tomorrow…there is more…
