Paul
the apostle told the church members in Rome,
“ the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness”,
and in chapter one and verse nineteen of Romans, Paul shared with the
church members concerning, “that
which may be known of God”
where we read:
Because
that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has
showed it
unto them.
The
verse begins, “Because
that which may be known of God is manifest in them;”
Paul began with the word, “because”
or “for and on account of”
“that which may be known”
or “that which is well-known and notable” “of
God”
which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised
of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit” “is
manifest”
which means “is apparent, evident and plainly recognized” “in
them” which
means “people who live”. Paul declared how God revealed anything
that may be known to people who lived.
The
verse goes on to say, “for
God has showed it
unto them.” Paul
added the words, “for
God” which
means “because and since the Godhead bodily and trinity which is
comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”
“has
showed it” which
refers to “has made it manifest, visible, known and realized”
“unto
them”
which means “to the people who live.”. “God”
“showed”
what may be “known”
to all who live.
When
we think through these words of Paul, we see how God revealed Himself
through His creation. God desired for people to know Him through what
“may be known”, and Paul exempted no one from His passion.
Jesus Christ desires to have a relationship with every person who
will believe and trust in Him, and when people observe “that
which may be known”, they shall see how God has revealed
Himself through these things.
Next
time Paul
tells the church members about, “the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world”,
so read ahead, and we shall join together then,
Until
tomorrow…there is more…
