Being Enriched in Everything 2 Corinthians 9:11

Paul the apostle quoted Psalm 112:9 to the church members in Corinth where he wrote, (As it is written, He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor: his righteousness remains for ever. Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)”, and in chapter nine and verse eleven of Second Corinthians, Paul shared about “being enriched in every thing” where we read:

Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God.

The verse begins, Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, ... Paul began with the words, “being enriched” which means “to be rich and fully furnished” “in every thing” or “in each, every, the whole and all things” “to all” which means “to each, every, the whole and everything in” “bountifulness” or “singleness, simplicity, sincerity and mental honesty”. God provided everything to the church members in “simplicity and sincerity”.

The verse continues, “... which causes through us thanksgiving to God.” Paul added the words, “which causes” or “whatever performs, accomplishes and achieves” “through us” which means “by way of Paul and his companions” “thanksgiving” or “gratitude” “to God” which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”. Paul was “grateful” for everything God provided to he and his companions.

When we meditate upon these words of Paul, we see how Paul and his companions knew God supplied for all their needs, and they were “grateful” for His bounty. Jesus Christ “abundantly” “enriches” His believers, and they, like Paul and his companions, should be “thankful” for everything He gives.

Next time Paul shares with the church members about the, “administration of this service, so read ahead, and we shall join together then,

Until tomorrow…there is more…
