The Gifts and Calling of God without Repentance Romans 11:29

Paul the apostle told the people in Rome,As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes:
but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. In chapter eleven and verse twenty-nine of Romans, Paul told the people in Rome, the gifts and calling of God are without repentance where we read:

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
The verse begins, For the gifts and calling of God ...Paul began with the word, “for” which means “even as, indeed, no doubt, seeing then, verily and therefore” “the gifts” or “the favor with which one receives without any merit of his own such as divine grace, faith, knowledge, holiness and virtue” “and calling” which means“the divine invitation to embrace salvation” “of God” or “pertaining to the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”. Paul referred to the “favor” and “invitation” God extends to people.

The verse continues, ... are without repentance.. Paul added the words, “are without” or “do not have” “repentance” which means “to be repentant of, irrevocable or having regret”. Paul shared how God's “favor and invitation” are “irrevocable and without regret”.

When we consider these words of Paul, we see one of the greatest blessings God has given to people. He desires to extend His “favor” to everyone through His Son Jesus, and His “invitation” is “irrevocable” and “without regret”. God “calls” to every person to be “saved” through Jesus, and when they “believe and trust” in Him, they not only shall receive “salvation” but also know that God will never change His mind.

Next time Paul shares with his believing readers in Rome, in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
