It is Done Revelation 21:6

After all the events of the tribulation period, the millennial reign of Jesus and the “Great White Throne” judgment, John the apostle wrote, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” John added, “and I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful”, and in Revelation chapter twenty-one and verse six God declares, “It is done” where we read:

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
The verse reads, And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. John began with the words, “and he said” which means “and the certain One seated upon the throne (God) uttered, declared and proclaimed” “unto me” or “toward John”, “it is done” which means “it has come to pass, happened, come into existence and appeared in public”, “I am Alpha” or “God exists, happens and is present as the beginning” “and Omega” which means “God exists, happens and is present as the ending, last and finality”, “the beginning” which refers to “the origin, thing that commences and the first in a series or as the leader” “and the end” or “and the termination, limit at which a thing ceases to be, last in succession or series, finality and uttermost”. John heard God declare “it is done” as He employed the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet to describe how He is “the first and the last”.

The verse continues, “I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” John added the words, “I will give” which means “God will grant, bestow, furnish and supply” “unto him” which means “to the person whether male or female” “that is athirst” or “who suffers from thirst, want and eager longing” “of the fountain” which refers to “out of and away from the well fed from the spring” “of the water” or “pertaining to the rivers, fountains and pools” “of life” which means “belonging to the absolute fulness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God” “freely” or “undeservedly, without a cause, for naught and in vain”. God continued to share with John how he would “grant” to anyone who is “thirsty” “undeserved and living water”

When we consider John's words in this verse, we see how God has completed all that is necessary for the “salvation” of man, and since He is the “beginning and the end”, He has an open invitation to anyone who will receive His Son Jesus as their personal “Savior and Lord”. Receiving God's Son Jesus is all that is necessary to enjoy “life”, real “life” from God's “fountain of living water”. Let all who read be reminded of Jesus' words, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” John 7:37.

Next time John shares, “he that overcomes shall inherit all things, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
