As
John continued to share concerning the events during the tribulation,
He wrote about the antichrist, the false prophet and the angels who
were involved in the reaping of the harvest of believers who received
the Lord Jesus during that time.
John wrote about the first, second, third and fourth angel and what
happened when they poured out their “vials”,
and he continued by writing,
“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the
beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their
tongues for pain. And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their
pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. And the sixth
angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the
water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east
might be prepared”,
and
in
chapter sixteen and verse thirteen of Revelation John shared how he
“saw
three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon”
where
we read:
The
verse reads, “And
I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come
out of the mouth of the dragon, ...”
John
began with the words, “and
I saw”
which means “and John perceived, noticed, discerned and discovered”
“three
unclean spirits”
or “three not cleansed, impure, morally lewd, demonic and foul
demons”
“like frogs”
which means “similar looking to frogs” “come
out”
or “proceed from and away” “of
the mouth”
which means “of the orifice in the face used for eating, drinking
and speech” “of
the dragon”
which refers to “pertaining to the great serpent which is a name
for Satan”. John watched as “three”
demons that appeared like “frogs”
proceeded from the “mouth”
of Satan.
The
verse goes on to say, “and
out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false
prophet.”
John
added the words, “and
out of the mouth”
which means “from the orifice in the face used for eating, drinking
and speaking” “of
the beast” or
“the wild and ferocious being which represents the antichrist”,
“and
out of the mouth” which
means “and from the orifice in the face used for eating, drinking
and speaking” “of
the false prophet”
which refers to “the second living creature mentioned in Revelation
chapter thirteen who was the spokesman for the antichrist”. These
demons also came from the “mouths”
of the “antichrist” and his “false prophet”.
When
we meditate upon John's words in this verse, we can imagine what a
scene this was in the spiritual world as he watched “three”
frog-like “demons” come from “Satan, the antichrist and the
false prophet”. No doubt these “demons” are powerful and
were employed for a specific purpose. God has control over all these
“spiritual beings”, and though they will go about their business
for a certain time according to God's plan, they shall not overcome
the person who has a personal relationship with God through His Son
Jesus Christ. “Satan, the antichrist, the false prophets”
and even these “three frog-like demons” shall not have dominion
over those who have yielded their lives to Jesus, therefore may all
who read these words submit themselves to Jesus today.
Next
time John shares how the “unclean
spirits like frogs”,
“are
the spirits of devils, working miracles”,
so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until
tomorrow…there is more…
