In Psalms chapter twenty-five David asked, “What man is he that fears the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose”, and in chapter twenty five and verse thirteen of Psalms David said, “His soul shall dwell at ease” where we read,
His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
The verse begins, “His soul shall dwell at ease;” David began with the words, “His soul” which means “ His, the person who reverences Jehovah God's, self, life, mind, living being, desire, emotions and passions” “shall dwell at ease” or “will live, abide, pass through and remain good, pleasant, agreeable, excellent and rich”. David said the inner being of the person who reverences Jehovah God will abide and remain in a pleasant, agreeable and rich manner.
The verse continues, “and his seed shall inherit the earth.” David added the words, “and his seed” or “and his, the person who reverences Jehovah God's, offspring, children, descendants, posterity and prodigy” “shall inherit the earth” which means “will seize, take possession of and occupy the territory, country, district, region and land”. David wrote how the descendants of the person who reverences Jehovah God would seize and take possession of the regions and lands of the world.
When we think through the words in this verse, we see through David the benefits for giving awe and reverence to God. David said that person would have “peace and rest” within their minds, will, emotions and passions”, and their offspring would seize and take possession of the territories and countries of the world. Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth”, (See Matthew 5:5), and anyone who humbles themselves before Jehovah God, reveres Him for who His is and receives His Son Jesus who died for their sins as a personal “Savior and Lord” will be granted everlasting blessings and honor from Jehovah God. God loves us, and He wants us to reverence Him for our benefit, and we shall forever praise and honor Him in return for His blessings and favor toward us.
Next time David says, “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
