In Psalms chapter twenty-five David said, “Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way”, and in chapter twenty five and verse nine of Psalms David said, “The meek will he guide in judgment” where we read,
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
The verse begins, “The meek will he guide in judgment:” David began with the words, “The meek” which means “the humble, afflicted, needy, poor and weak” “will he guide” or “shall he, Jehovah God, lead, tread and walk before” “in judgment” which means “with justice, process, procedure, litigation and cause”. David said Jehovah God would lead and walk before people who are “humble, needy and weak”.
The verse continues, “and the meek will he teach his way.” David added the words, “and the meek” or “and the people who are humble, afflicted, needy, poor and weak” “will he teach” which means “shall he, Jehovah God, instruct, train and goad toward” “his way” or “his, Jehovah God's, direction, journey, manner and course”. David wrote how Jehovah God would instruct the person who is “humble, needy and weak” toward His direction and course.
When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn how David knew Jehovah God would lead and walk before people who are humble, needy and weak, and He will instruct them according to His direction and course. God wants every person to yield themselves to Him through His Son Jesus, and He sent Jesus into the world to die on the cross for their sins. When we submit ourselves to Jesus, He will forgive our sins and grant us everlasting life with Him. He will lead and instruct everyone who humbles themselves to Him, and we shall praise Him for all eternity for guiding and directing us according to His purpose and plans.
Next time David says, “All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
