In Psalms chapter twenty-two David said, “The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever”, and in chapter twenty two and verse twenty-seven of Psalms David said, “all the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD” where we read,
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:
and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you.
The verse begins, “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:” David began with the words, “All the ends” which means “each, every, the whole and without ceasing and finality” “of the world” or “pertaining to the arable ground, territory, country and district in the earth” “shall remember” which means “will call to mind, recall and be reminded”, “and turn unto the LORD” or “and return or come back to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David said everyone on the earth will recall and come back to Jehovah God.
The verse goes on to say, “and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you.” David continued with the words, “and all the kindreds” or “and each, every, the whole and everyone of the clans, families, tribes and people” “of the nations” which means “belonging to the descendants of Abraham and the non-Hebrew people” “shall worship before you” or “will bow down, prostrate themselves, humbly beseech and make obeisance in front and in the presence of you, Jehovah God”. David wrote how every person, Jew and Gentile, will give honor and adoration to Jehovah God.
When we think through the words in this verse, we see how David knew the whole world would eventually recall what Jehovah God has done, and every person, without exception, shall bow and give homage to Him. Paul the apostle wrote, “every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (See Romans 14:11), and eventually everyone will recall what Jehovah God has done, bow before Him and glorify Him and His Son Jesus. God loves people, and His desire is to have a personal relationship with them through His Son Jesus in advance of being forced to do so. He offers salvation and forgiveness of sins to everyone who believes and trusts in His Son Jesus, and when we yield to Him, we shall spend eternity giving Him praise, honor and glory for His wonderful grace.
Next time David says, “the kingdom is the LORD's”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
