Twelve Thousand from Asher, Nepthalim and Manasseh Revelation 7:6

After the worship scene in heaven where “the Lamb” of God received the “scroll” in God's right hand, the beginning of the tribulation to come upon the earth began and John the apostle saw the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and the sixth seals were opened and great troubles came upon the earth with each of them. He saw the He continued, And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” John saw, “Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.”, and in chapter seven and verse six of Revelation John saw “twelve thousand” from “the tribes of Asher, Nepthalim and Manasseh” where we read:

Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand.

The verse reads, Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. John began with the words, “of the tribe” which means “from the nation and people“of Asher” which means “blessed” and was “the eighth son of Jacob” “were sealed” or “set a mark upon by the impress of a seal or stamp“twelve thousand” which means “two and ten thousand people”. “Of the tribe” which means “from the nation and people“of Napthalim” which means “wrestling” and was “was the sixth son of Jacob and the second child borne to him by Bilhah, Rachel's slave” “were sealed” or “set a mark upon by the impress of a seal or stamp“twelve thousand” which means “two and ten thousand people”. John saw as “twelve thousand people” from the tribes of “Asher and Napthalim” were “marked” with God's “signet seal”.

The verse goes on to say, “Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand.” John added the words, “of the tribe” which means “from the nation and people” “of Manasseh” which means “forgetting” and was “the first born son of Joseph” “were sealed” which refers to “set a mark upon by the impress of a seal or stamp” “twelve thousand” or “two and ten thousand people”. John also saw “twelve thousand people” from the tribe of “Manasseh” “marked” with God's “signet seal”.

When we consider John's words in this verse, we see how one by one the “angels” “marked” the “twelve thousand people” from each of the tribes of Israel. “ Asher and Nepthalim” were among this group, and the son of Joseph, “Manasseh”, was included as well. “Dan” was omitted because God knows the ones He desires to “mark” and “save” from the torment that was destined upon the earth. He knows those who shall escape these things by receiving His Son Jesus Christ as their personal “Savior and Lord”, and these “twelve thousand” from the tribes of “Asher, Nepthalim and Manasseh” will be spared in the “tribulation”. Those who accept Jesus shall be saved in advance of the “tribulation”, so let all who read these words yield their lives to God's invitation to “salvation” through His amazing grace.

Next time we John sees how, “twelve thousand” were “sealed” of the tribes of “Simeon, Levi and Issachar”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
