Rendered According to His Deeds Romans 2:6

Paul the apostle told the church members in Rome how a person who “judges others and does the same” lives with, “hardness and” “a” “impenitent heart”, and they “treasure up unto” themselves “wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God” In chapter two and verse six of Romans, Paul shared how God will, “render to every man according to his deeds” where we read:

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

The verse begins, “Who will render to every man ...” Paul began with the words, “who will render” which refers to “God shall deliver and produce a promise” “to every man” which means “toward every human being whether male or female”. Paul confirmed that God will “deliver over every person” to that which he is about to declare.

The verse continues, “... according to his deeds:” Paul added the words, “according to” which means “down from, through out, toward and along” “his deeds” or “the person's business, employment and that which any one is occupied”. Paul shared how each person will “receive” from God “in accordance” to that which they have “done”.

When we consider these words of Paul, we see how God will “deliver over” and “judge” every person “according to” the work he or she has done. This is the reason Jesus Christ came to the earth. Every person was worthy of the “judgment of God”, and each was to receive from the Lord their “just deserts”. Jesus came to pay the price for all those sins, and when a person receives Jesus as their personal “Savior and Lord”, their sins are forgiven and blotted out of their lives. In other words, they will no longer be “judged” or “rendered according to their deeds”. May all who read these words know the “grace” or “unmerited favor” of God and receive Jesus Christ today.

Next time Paul shares about, “well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
