The Great Multitude Cries Out Salvation Revelation 7:10

After the worship scene in heaven where “the Lamb” of God received the “scroll” in God's right hand, the beginning of the tribulation to come upon the earth began and John the apostle saw the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and the sixth seals were opened and great troubles came upon the earth with each of them. He continued to write, After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands”, and in chapter seven and verse nine John saw when the great multitude “cried with a loud voice” where we read:

And cried with a loud voice, saying,
Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

The verse reads, And cried with a loud voice, saying, ...John began with the words, “and cried” which means “vociferated and spoke with a aloud” “with a loud voice” which means “a massive and abundant tone, sound, language and tongue of uttered words”, “saying” or “uttering, proclaiming and declaring”. John heard the “massive multitude” shouting aloud.

The verse goes on to say, “... Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” John added the word, “Salvation” which means “deliverance, preservation, safety, rescue and health” “to our God” which means “toward the multitude's Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit” “which sits upon the throne” or “who is seated, occupies and resides on the chair of state having a footstool which was assigned to kings and therefore showing kingly power or royalty”, “and unto” or “and toward” “the Lamb” which refers to “a little sheep or lamb which represented Jesus”. John heard the massive multitude from around the world attribute “salvation” to God and His Lamb – Jesus who were seated upon their Heavenly “thrones”.

When we meditate upon John's words in this verse, we may marvel at this wonderful worship scene. A huge multitude of people who are from around the world and dressed in white are crying aloud concerning the “salvation” of God Almighty and His Son Jesus. No one else can save, and only those who receive Jesus as their personal “Savior and Lord” may know God in this capacity. This marvelous crowd shall shout aloud like no other, and God shall be praised for His “salvation plan” for man. May all who read these words yield their lives to Him and enjoy the thoughts of the worship scene that is soon to appear.

Next time we John sees, “all the angels stood round about the throne”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
