Christ Dies No More Romans 6:9

Paul the apostle shared with the people in Rome, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him”, and in chapter six and nine of Romans, Paul shared how, “Christ being raised from the dead dies no more” where we read:

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.
The verse begins, Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more;” Paul began with the words, “knowing that” which means “noticing, discerning, discovering, observing and paying attention to, perceiving because and since” “Christ” which refers to “the anointed One, the Messiah and the Son of God” “being raised” or “arising, awakening and recalling” “from the dead” which means “in separation of one who has breathed his last, is deceased, departed and inanimate” “dies” or “perishes and is slain” “no more” which means “no longer or further”. Paul shared that because Jesus was “resurrected” from the “dead”, He shall never “die” again.

The verse goes on to say, death has no more dominion over him.Paul added the word, “death” which means “that separation, whether natural or violent, of the soul and the body by which the life on earth is ended” “has no more dominion over” or “no longer or further is lord, rules or has power” “him” or “Jesus”. Paul shared how “death” no longer has “power” over Jesus.

When we meditate upon these words of Paul, we know when Jesus was “raised from the dead” after His “death” on the cross, He would never “die” again. “Death” has been defeated, and now “eternal life” is available through “belief and trust” in Jesus. “Everlasting life” awaits all who give their lives to God the Father through Jesus Christ, and though the physical body shall “die”, the “spirit” shall live forever with God.

Next time Paul tells the people in Rome how Jesus, “died unto sin once” and how He “lives unto God”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
