Paul
the apostle told the church members in Corinth how, “God
gives” a
seed sown “a body as it has pleased
him, and to every seed his own body”,
and in
chapter fifteen and verse thirty-nine of First Corinthians, Paul told
the church members how, “all flesh is not
the same flesh”, where
we read:
another
flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and
another of birds.
The
verse begins, “All
flesh is
not the same flesh: but there is
one kind of
flesh of men,...” Paul
began with the words, “all flesh”
or “each,
every, the whole and everyone of the natural or physical origin,
generation or relationship” “is not
the same”
which means “aforementioned, identical or selfsame” “flesh”
or “natural
or physical origin, generation or relationship”:
“but” which
is a disassociation conjunction that means what is about to be
written takes precedence over what was just stated “there
is one” or
“a certain other” “kind of
flesh”
which means “natural or physical origin, generation or
relationship” “of men”
or “of human beings whether male or female”. Paul recognized
there were differences in the “bodies”
of people.
The
verse goes on to say, “
...another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and
another of birds.” Paul
added the word, “another” which
means “an other type of” “flesh”
which means “natural or physical origin, generation or
relationship” “of beasts”
which means “four legged animals such as domestic animals”,
“another”
or “an other type” “of fishes”
which means “the fish of the seas”, “and
another”
or “an other type” “of birds”
which refers to “winged, flying birds”. Paul acknowledged the
different “bodies”
which were in “beasts, fish and
birds”.
When
we meditate upon these words from Paul, we realize he is using the
differences in the bodies of “men, beasts, fish and birds”
to describe how the “resurrected” bodies of believers shall be.
They shall have their own shape, size and dimensions according to
God's plan, and ultimately, God decides which bodies shall go with
which creation. God shall supply the same for those who have faith
and trust in Jesus Christ as “Savior and Lord”. Let us
understand, all bodies are not the same, and that is the beauty of
God and His creation with His resurrection plan. May God be God, and
let us delight in the ideas He intends concerning the bodies we shall
obtain.
Next
time Paul shares with
the church members how,
“God
gives it a body as it has pleased him”,
so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
