Is it half empty or is it half full

the cup that sits on window ledge

there waiting for my pull

The gap not filled capacity

depends on he who views

for neither one doth reach the top

and all looks be askew

For each container made complete

capacity might be

for liquid half and portioned air

have filled the cup with ease

For thus need I to benefit

to drink of liquid there

or breathe about the empty half

that I might gain it's air

And though potential people make

do never meet the rise

the volume of expected state

is often unrealized

For God alone can close the gap

He left the vacant void

His Holy Spirit comes within

and fills the great centroid

Is it half empty or is it half full

With expectation to fulfill

God's opportune surmise

while taking thus advantage of

without regret's demise
