A Propitiation Through Faith Romans 3:25

Paul the apostle told the Jews in Rome, “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ:”, and in chapter three and verse twenty-five of Romans, Paul shared about, “a propitiation through faith in his blood” where we read:

Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God
The verse begins, Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, Paul began with the words, “Whom God” which means “who the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit” “has set forth” or “has placed before, purposed and determined” “to be a propitiation” which means “relating to an appeasing, expiating or placating force, expiatory; a means of appeasing or expiating” “through faith” or “by way and means of the conviction that God exists and is the creator and ruler of all things, the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through Christ” “in his blood” or “within Jesus' bloodshed”. Paul declared “faith” in “Jesus'” “bloodshed” became an “appeasing sacrifice” which came from God above.

The verse goes on to say, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.Paul added the words, “to declare” or “to demonstrate, prove, manifest by act, sign or evidence” “his righteousness” or “God's doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God, integrity, virtue, purity of life, correctness of thinking, feeling and acting” “for the remission” which means “for the passing over and disregarding” “of sins” or “of missing the mark, error and mistakes” “that are past” which refers to “that happened before or were previously committed”, “through the forbearance” which means “by the toleration and self-restraint” “of God” which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”.

When we consider these words of Paul, we see how it was God who sent Jesus to be the “appeasing sacrifice” for people's failure to keep His law. God desired to save people from their “sins”, both past, present and future”, and for those who put their “faith and trust” in Him, not only shall they receive God's forgiveness, but they shall also inherit “eternal life”.

Next time Paul shares with the people in Rome about, the justifier of him which believes in Jesus, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
