Now is Come Salvation Revelation 12:10

John the apostle wrote how, “there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”, and in chapter twelve and verse ten of Revelation John shared how he heard a voice say, “now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God” where we read:

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The verse reads, And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: John began with the words, “and I heard” which means “and John was given the faculty for hearing, perceiving and discerning” “a loud voice” or “a great, massive and abundant sound or tone of uttered words” “saying” which means “uttering, proclaiming and declaring”“in heaven” or “in the region above the sidereal heavens, the seat of order of things eternal and consummately perfect where God dwells and other heavenly beings”, “now” which means “at this present time and moment” “is come” or “has arrived, arisen, happened and come into existence” “salvation” which means “deliverance, preservation and safety”, “and strength” or “power, ability, strength and excellence of soul”, “and the kingdom” or “and the royal power, dominion, rule and reign” “of our God” which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”, “and the power” or “and the strength, ability and authority” “of his Christ” which means “pertaining to God's anointed One, Messiah and Son”. John heard a “loud voice” from heaven that attributed this to be the time for the “salvation, strength and the kingdom of God” and “Christ's power”.

The verse continues, “for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. John added the words, “for the accuser” which means “because and since the one who makes accusation and charge with some offense” “of our brethren” or “pertaining to the fellow believers who are united to one another by the bond of affection” “is cast down” or “is thrown to the ground, prostrate or put in a lower place”, “which accused them” which means “who made accusation and charge with some offense” “before” or “in front and in the presence of” “our God” which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit” “day” or “the interval between sunrise and sunset” “and night” which means “the time when work ceases and the interval between sunset and sunrise”. The induction for the timing of “salvation, strength and the kingdom of God” was “Satan” who is known as an “accuser of the brethren … day and night” was “thrown out” of heaven.

When we meditate John's words in this verse, we see how “Satan” is a defeated foe of God. Though his task was to continually “accuse” believers in Jesus before God, he was at this time “cast out” of heaven and “salvation, strength and the kingdom of God” were declared. God desires to exhibit His “salvation” to every person who will receive His Son Jesus, and they shall know His “strength” and discover His “kingdom” as well. Let all who read these words know “today is the day of salvation”, and before “Satan”, the “accuser”, is thrown down to the earth, may they yield their lives to Him and His Son Jesus.

Next time John shares how those who are saved, “over came” the Devil, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
