Seven Vials Filled with God's Wrath Revelation 15:7

As John continued to share concerning the events during the tribulation, He wrote about the antichrist, the false prophets and angels who were involved in the reaping of the harvest of believers who received the Lord Jesus during that time. John wrote, And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of saints”, and John asked, “Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name?” and answered, “for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for your judgments are made manifest. And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.”, and in chapter fifteen and verse seven of Revelation John saw how “one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God” where we read:

And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.

The verse reads, And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, ... John began with the words, “and one of the four beasts” which means “and a certain one of the four living beings before the throne of God” “gave” or “granted, bestowed, furnished and supplied” “unto the seven angels” which means “to the seven messengers, envoys and ones sent” “seven golden vials” or “seven broad shallow bowls or deep saucers which were made or overlaid with God” “full” which means “filled and swelling” “of the wrath” or “with the anger, indignation, fierceness, anger and passion” “of God” which refers to “the Godhead bodily and trinity which is comprised of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit”. John watched as a “certain one” of the “four living beings” which surrounded the throne of God “gave” to the “seven angels”seven bowls” which were made of “gold” and held God's “anger and indignation”.

The verse goes on to say, “... who lives for ever and ever.John added the words, “who lives” which means “God is alive, active and blessed” “for ever and ever” or “to the unbroken age, perpetuity of time and eternity”. John shared how “God” is “eternal” and is “alive” forever more.

When we think through John's words in this verse, we discover another ominous moment in heaven. When God sends one of His “four living beings” to give the “seven angels” these “seven golden bowls, He knew they were “filled with” His “wrath”. People on the earth will have refused and rejected God's offer of “salvation” through His Son Jesus, and they have rather followed the ways of the world and it's “antichrist”. This is not the way God wants it to be, and He makes His appeal to people to have a relationship with Him through Jesus. When they surrender their lives to Him and humble themselves to receive Jesus as their personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive their sins, clear the path to His throne and keep them from these “seven bowls” of His “wrath”.

Next time John watches as, “the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and his power, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
