In Psalms eighty nine Ethan the Psalmist said, “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of your countenance”, and in chapter eighty nine and verse sixteen of Psalms Ethan said to Jehovah God, “in your name shall they rejoice all the day” where we read,
In your name shall they rejoice all the day: and in your righteousness shall they be exalted.
The verse begins, “In your name shall they rejoice all the day:” Ethan began with the words, “in your name” or “within your, Jehovah God's, fame, reputation and glory” “shall they rejoice” which means “will they, the people who know the joyful sound, exult, be glad and spin around” “all the day” or “throughout the entire day as defined by the nighttime and daytime”. Ethan said the people who hear the joyful sound would spin around with joyfulness throughout the entirety of the day.
The verse goes on to say, “and in your righteousness shall they be exalted.” Ethan continued with the words, “and in your righteousness” or “and within your, Jehovah God's, justice, rightness, justification, salvation and truthfulness” “shall they be exalted” which means “will they, the people who hear the joyful sound, exists as lofty, uplifted and extolled”. Ethan said the people who hear the joyful sound would be lofty, uplifted and extolled within Jehovah God's justice and truthfulness.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see how Ethan referred to how the people who know the joyful sound are so glad that they spin around throughout the day, and within Jehovah God's justice and truthfulness, they would be lifted up and extolled. This is God's desire for everyone, and He sent His Son Jesus into the world to be crucified on the cross so every person has access to Him. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and exalt and fill us with so much gladness that we spin around with joy all the day long.
Next time Ethan the Psalmist says to Jehovah God, “you are the glory of their strength”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
