Who are those there behind the gates
imprisoned and unfree
the ones that lost forevermore
enchained eternity
Enchained eternity they'll be
imprisoned held in snares
except the church doth charge the gates
and manifest their care
And manifest their care beyond
a wink or glancing blow
but charging forth with all God's might
to save from hell below

defensive though the gates
shall not prevail against God's church
they must not wait too late

with Jesus' mighty church
prevailing prayer and Holy word
must constant be their perch

to rescue those from Satan's grip
with Captain of the Lord

to rescue loved ones there
who trapped inside inherent blind
are not their fate aware

those kept in Satan's hands
behind the gates of hell they live
and none doth understand

the onslaught keeping there
unless the strong charge through the gates

The church in mighty prayer assert
and pull them from the fire
some save with fear release their bonds
with overcoming dire
With overcoming dire they'll storm
through wretched gates of hell
with keys in hand, death, hell and grave
Satan shall not prevail
Satan shall not prevail against
God's church by Jesus lead
to save the loved ones held inside
rescued from living dead
