Riding upon the Heavens of Heavens - Psalms 68:33

In Psalms chapter sixty eight David said, “Sing unto God, you kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah”, and in chapter sixty-eight and verse thirty-three of Psalms David shared about, “him that rides upon the heavens of heavens” where we read,

To him that rides upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old;

lo, he does send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

The verse begins, To him that rides upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; David began with the words, “to him” or “to him, the Divine judge Jehovah God” “that rides upon the heavens” which means “who mounts up and dispatches Himself on the sky, atmosphere and firmament which is spread out like a vault over the globe” “of heavens” or “belonging to the sky, atmosphere and firmament which is spread out like a vault over the globe”, “which were of old” which means “that existed from the beginning, ancient time, aforetime and from earliest time”. David said the people were to “sing praises” to the Divine judge Jehovah God who mounts the atmosphere and sky which were from the beginning of time.

The verse goes on to say,lo, he does send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. David continued with the words, “lo, he does send out” or “look, behold and consider he, the Divine judge Jehovah God, dispatches and assigns” “his voice” which means “his, the Divine judge Jehovah God's, sound and noise”, “and that a mighty voice” or “and that, the Divine judge Jehovah God's, strong, powerful, loud and bold sound and noise”. David shared how the Divine judge Jehovah God dispatched His sound and noise which is powerful and strong.

When we consider the words in this verse, we learn about the power, might and ability of Jehovah God who is the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God. God made the atmosphere, sky and the world, so He easily is able to “ride” upon and over it. When He speaks, His “voice” is dispatched with power and might. God shows His ability and makes His “voice” known to every person who will listen to His Holy Spirit. God's Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself, but rather speaks of God's Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. (See John 16:33) When we surrender our lives to Jesus as our “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and help us recognize His powerful abilities and utterances when He assigns them to us.

Next time David says, “ascribe you strength unto God”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
