At Evening It Shall Be Light - Zechariah 14:7

In the book of Zechariah, Zechariah shared how Jehovah God said the people of Israel, shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with you. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark”, and in chapter fourteen and verse seven of Zechariah, Zechariah shared how Jehovah God said, “at evening time it shall be light” where we read,

But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD,

not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

The verse reads, But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, ... Zechariah began with the words, “but it shall be in one day” or “however, nonetheless, notwithstanding and moreover the following will occur or happen within a single day's time or season” “which shall be known” which means “that will exist as perceived, found out, discerned, discriminated and distinguished” “to the LORD” or “to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. Zechariah shared how the following would occur during a single time period which is discerned by Jehovah God.

The verse continues, ... not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. Zechariah added the words, “not day” or “not in any manner sunrise to sunset”, “nor night” which means “no and not in any manner a protective shadow, adversity or gloom”: “but it shall come to pass” or “however, nonetheless, notwithstanding and moreover this will happen and occur”, “that at evening time” which means “that during the nighttime or at sunset” “it shall be light” or “it will exist as clear, bright and illuminated”. Zechariah shared how there would no longer be “day nor night”, and during the sunset time, it will be bright and illuminated.

When we meditate upon Zechariah's words in this verse, we discover how there will be a continuous day which is only “known” by Jehovah God. The normal day will go away because there will no longer be “day or night” because the evening time will be illuminated as though it was day. (See Revelation 22:5) Jesus is the light of the world, and His Father God has a desire is to have a personal relationship with every person. (See John 8:12; 9:5) He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we yield to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and lead us into the time when “daytime and nighttime” shall continually be in the “light”

Next time Zechariah shared how Jehovah God says, “living waters shall go out from Jerusalem”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
