Giving His Angels Charge Over You - Psalms 91:11

In Psalms ninety-one the Psalmist said, “Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation, there shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling”, and in chapter ninety-one and verse eleven the Psalmist said, “he shall give his angels charge over you” where we read,

For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

The verse begins, For he shall give his angels charge over you, ... The Psalmist began with the words, “for he shall give his angels” or “because, since and on account that he, Jehovah God, will command, appoint and ordain His spiritual messengers and envoys” “charge over you” which means “appointment, constitution and order above you, the people who dwell in the secret place of the most High”. The Psalmist said Jehovah God would appoint His spiritual messengers over the people who dwell in the secret place of the most High.

The verse goes on to say, “... to keep you in all your ways. The Psalmist continued with the words, “to keep you” or “to watch over, guard and protect you, people who dwell in the secret place of the most High” “in all your ways” which means “within each, every, the whole and everyone of your, the people who dwell in the secret place of the most High's, journey, manner, road, path and direction”. (See Matthew 4:6; Luke 4:10-11; Hebrews 1:14) The Psalmist said Jehovah God's messengers and envoys would watch over and protect the people who dwell in the secret place of the most High in their journeys and paths.

When think through the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist said Jehovah God would appoint His spiritual messengers and envoys over those who dwell in the secret place of the most High. God employs His spiritual entities to carry out His spiritual work upon the earth, and when we align with Him through His Son Jesus who gave His life on the cross for the sins of all mankind, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and direct His “angels” to watch over us every day of our lives.

Next time the Psalmist says, “they shall bear you up in their hands”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
