God's Lovingkindness and Faithfulness - Psalms 92:2

In Psalms ninety-two the Psalmist said, It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto your name, O most High”, and in chapter ninety-two and verse two of Psalms the Psalmist shared about Jehovah God's, “lovingkindness” and “faithfulness” where we read,

To show forth your lovingkindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,

The verse begins, To show forth your lovingkindness in the morning, ... The Psalmist began with the words, “to show forth” or “to be conspicuous, tell, make known and declare” “your lovingkindness” which means “your, Jehovah God's, goodness, kindness and faithfulness” “in the morning” or “at dawn, the break of day and at sunrise”. The Psalmist included declaring the goodness, kindness and faithfulness of Jehovah God at the beginning of the day as a “good thing”.

The verse continues,... and your faithfulness every night, ... The Psalmist added the words, “and your faithfulness” or “and your, Jehovah God's, firmness, fidelity, steadfastness and steadiness” “every night” which means “each, all and everyone of the dark periods of the nighttime season”. The Psalmist said it is a “good thing” to make the fidelity and steadfastness of Jehovah to be known in each and every dark nighttime season.

When meditate upon the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist continued to give honor and praise unto Jehovah God as he spoke of declaring the goodness, kindness, faithfulness, fidelity and steadfastness of Him. God is worthy of our worship and praise, and His character deserves our declaration. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to be crucified on the cross for our sins, and when we believe and trust in Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins and grant us everlasting life with Him where we shall worship Him with praise, honor and glory for all eternity.

Next time the Psalmist shares about worshiping God with, “an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
