God's Hand Finding Out Enemies - Psalms 21:8

In Psalms chapter twenty-one David wrote about Jehovah God caring for the king and said, “you have made him most blessed for ever: you have made him exceeding glad with your countenance. For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved”, and in chapter twenty one and verse eight of Psalms David said, “Your hand shall find out all your enemies” where we read,

Your hand shall find out all your enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you.

The verse begins, “Your hand shall find out all your enemies: David began with the words, “Your hand” which means “your, Jehovah God's, hand of authority, power and might” “shall find out” or “will acquire, detect and discover” “all your enemies” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone of your, Jehovah God's, adversaries and foes”. David said Jehovah God would discover everyone of His adversaries by the great power and might of His hand.

The verse continues, your right hand shall find out those that hate you. David added the words, “your right hand” or “your, Jehovah God's, right hand which was the symbol of authority, power, might and strength” “shall find out” which means “will acquire, detect and discover” “those that hate you” or “the people and nations who are odious and hateful to you, Jehovah God”. David noted how the strength and power of the “right hand” of Jehovah God would expose every person who was hateful and in opposition to Him.

When we consider the words in this verse, we learn how David acknowledged the omniscience of Jehovah God. God knows those who hate Him, and He is well aware of every person who is in opposition to Him and His ways. He desires to have a personal relationship with every person through His Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of the world, and when we humble ourselves, yield to Him and ask Him for forgiveness of our sins, He will do so. God wants us to align with Him and forsake ways that are in opposition to Him because being hateful toward God only damages our own lives. Let Jehovah God be praised for sending His Son Jesus to all mankind, and even when they hate Him and are in opposition to His ways, He still extends His invitation to come and receive Him as “Savior and Lord”.

Next time David says, You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
