Uttered Speech and Shown Knowledge - Psalms 19:2

In Psalms chapter nineteen David wrote, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork”, and in chapter nineteen and verse two of Psalms David said, “Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge where we read,

Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.

The verse begins, Day unto day utters speech, ... David began with the words, “Day unto day” which means “Each sunrise to sunset after sunrise to sunset” “utters speech” or “flows, pours out, gushes, springs forth and emits saying, promise and demand”. David declared that every day after every day declares the word, promise and demand of God.

The verse continues,... and night unto night shows knowledge. David added the words, “and night unto night” or “and nighttime after nighttime” “shows knowledge” which means “declares, makes known and intensively tells the perception, skill, discernment, understanding and wisdom of God”. David wrote how every nighttime unto nighttime demonstrates the discernment, understanding and wisdom of God.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we realize God designed the repetition of every day and night to declare and demonstrate His promises and wisdom. God set the daytime and nighttime, the sky, atmosphere and universe to reveal who He is and the wonderful attributes He possesses. This same Jehovah God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, and when we believe and trust in Him we receive forgiveness of sins, everlasting life and a personal relationship with Him. God loves people, and He set the wonders of the universe and the cycle of the days and nights to declare and reveal His presence and wonders to us.

Next time David says, There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
