The Almighty Scattering the Kings - Psalms 68:14

In Psalms chapter sixty eight David said, “Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. Though you have lien among the pots, yet shall you be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold”, and in chapter sixty-eight and verse fourteen of Psalms David tells what happened, “when the Almighty scattered the kings in it” where we read,

When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

The verse begins, When the Almighty scattered kings in it, ... David began with the words, “when the Almighty” or “at the time and moment the most powerful Shaddai Jehovah God” “scattered kings in it” which means “spread abroad, broke in pieces and dispersed royal rulers within the land”. David referred to the time and moment that the Almighty God dispersed and spread abroad the royal rulers within the desert and the land of Canaan.

The verse continues,... it was white as snow in Salmon. David added the words, “it was white as snow” or “the land was white in color and brightness like unto the snow from the sky which falls” “in Salmon” which means “in Salmon or Zalmon whose name means shady and was a wooded hill in Samaria near Shechem”. David said the land was white like unto fallen snow in the wooded hill in Samaria “when the Almighty scattered the kings in it”.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see through David how Jehovah God dispersed the royal rulers like a blowing snowstorm in the wooded hill in “Salmon”. God defends His own, and to have a personal relationship with God, we must believe and trust in His Son Jesus who was crucified on the cross for our sins. When we surrender to Him, we will be forgiven and granted everlasting life with Him in Heaven, and fulfill the words of Isaiah the prophet, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD.” (See Isaiah 54:17)

Next time David says, “the hill of God is as the hill of Bashan”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
