In Psalms chapter twenty-nine David said “The LORD sits upon the flood; yes, the LORD sits King for ever”, and in chapter twenty nine and verse eleven of Psalms David said, “The LORD will give strength unto his people”, where we read,
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
The verse begins, “The LORD will give strength unto his people;” David began with the words, “The LORD” which means “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God” “will give strength” or “shall put, set, bestow, ascribe, devote, consecrate and dedicate power and might both material and physical which is personal, social and political” “unto his people” which means “to his, Jehovah God's, nation, compatriots, countrymen, kinsmen and kindred”. David said Jehovah God will provide power and might to His nation, kinsmen and countrymen.
The verse continues, “the LORD will bless his people with peace.” David added the words, “the LORD” or “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God” “will bless his people” which means “shall adore, salute and benefit his, Jehovah God's, nation, compatriots, countrymen, kinsmen and kindred” “with peace” or “by the way of completeness, safety, soundness, welfare, health, prosperity, quiet, tranquility and contentment”. David wrote how Jehovah God would salute and benefit His “nation and countrymen” by the use of His “safety, health, prosperity and tranquility”.
When we consider the words in this verse, we learn through David how Jehovah God will provide power, might and tranquility to His kinsmen and nation. In other words, anyone who aligns and yields to Him will be given the benefits of God. God provided His Son Jesus to be the “Savior and Lord” of the world, and because He died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of everyone, anyone who surrenders to Him will be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life with Him. God loves all people, and He invites them to have an intimate relationship with Him through His Son Jesus. For all eternity we shall give praise, honor and glory to Jehovah God and His Son Jesus who provided a way for us to receive “strength and peace” as His “people”.
Next time we begin a new chapter and see David say, “I will extol you, O LORD”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
