Hearts Fashioned Alike - Psalms 33:15

In Psalms chapter thirty three David wrote, “The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth”, and in chapter thirty three and verse fifteen of Psalms David shares how Jehovah, “fashions their hearts alike” where we read,

He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.

The verse begins, He fashions their hearts alike; David began with the words, “He fashions” which means “He, Jehovah God, forms, frames, predetermined and preordained” “their hearts alike” or “the inner man, soul, mind, knowledge, thinking, conscience and seat of appetites, emotions and passions of the inhabitants of the earth in likeness both united and together. David said Jehovah God formed and framed the souls and minds of people in a similar manner for the following reason.

The verse goes on to say,he considers all their works. David continued with the words, “he considers” or “he, Jehovah God, discerns, understands and perceives” “all their works” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone of the deeds, labors, undertakings, enterprises and achievements of the inhabitants of the earth”. David wrote how Jehovah God discerns and understands every labor and undertaking that people on the earth perform and produce.

When we think through the words in this verse, we learn through David how Jehovah God created mankind in such a way that He would discern and perceive everything they do. Nothing happens without God's knowledge, and whether the act is righteous or sinful, God is watching. God loves people, and even when He discerns the evil works of mankind, He continues to desire to give them His grace through His Son Jesus. Jesus came into the world to die on the cross for the sins of everyone, and when we submit ourselves to Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins and grant us everlasting life. God knows what we do, and He made us so He could observe, perceive, understand and forgive everyone who humbles themselves and comes to Him.

Next time David shares how, “there is no king saved by the multitude of an host, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
