In Psalms chapter thirty three David wrote, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance”, and in chapter thirty three and verse thirteen of Psalms David said, “The LORD looks from heaven” where we read,
The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
The verse begins, “The LORD looks from heaven;” David began with the words, “the LORD” which means “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God” “looks from heaven” or “regards, pays attention to, beholds and considers from His abode in the sky, atmosphere and where the celestial bodies revolve”. David said Jehovah God observes the following from His celestial abode.
The verse goes on to say, “he beholds all the sons of men.” David continued with the words, “he beholds” or “he, Jehovah God, inspects, perceives, considers, observes and gives attention to” “all the sons of men” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone of the offspring, order, class and progeny belonging to people whether males or females”. David wrote how Jehovah God observes and considers the order and class of the offspring of people.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see through David how Jehovah God pays attention to people. He observes their speech, attitudes and actions, and He knows them completely. God loves people. They are His creation, and His desire is to live with them throughout eternity in Heaven. This is only possible when we have our sins expunged because God is a Holy God, and sin separates people from Him. He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty of death for our sins, and when we surrender our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us eternal life and observe and lead us in His plan and purpose for our lives. Let us give praise, honor and glory to Jehovah God who watches us and desires to bless us with His presence at all times.
Next time David shares how Jehovah looks, “from the place of his habitation”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
