The Fowls and the Wild Beasts - Psalms 50:11

In Psalms chapter fifty Asaph shared how Jehovah God said, “Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, even your God. I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. I will take no bullock out of your house, nor he goats out of your folds. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills”, and in chapter fifty and verse eleven of Psalms Asaph shared how Jehovah God said, “I know all the fowls … and the wild beasts” where we read,

I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

The verse begins, I know all the fowls of the mountains:” Asaph began with the words, “I know all the fowls” or “I, Jehovah God, perceive, acknowledge, understand, discover and discern each, every, the whole and everyone of the flying creatures, insects and birds” “of the mountains” which means “belonging to risings above the plain and the hill countries”. Asaph shared how Jehovah God also was well aware of each and every bird and insect belonging to the rising hills of the world.

The verse goes on to say,and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Asaph continued with the words, “ and the wild beasts” or “and the moving creatures and animals” “of the field” which means “belonging to the the lands and plains” “are mine” or “exist as mine, Jehovah God's”. Asaph shared how Jehovah God said all of the creatures and animals within the lands and plains belong to Him.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we see through Asaph how the birds, insects, moving creatures and animals belong to Jehovah God. In other words, God possesses them all. God created the world and everything that is within it, so they are all His. (See Psalm 24:1) God loves people, and He made the world for people to dwell within. He told man to “have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth” (See Genesis 1:26), and when we understand that He owns it all, we will have proper perspective concerning His care for us to live with Him forever. He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and anyone who surrenders their life to Him will be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life with God. Let us give praise, honor and glory to our mighty Creator God of all the insects, creatures and animals for His eternal plan of salvation to everyone who trusts and believes in His Son Jesus.

Next time Asaph shares how Jehovah God says,If I were hungry, I would not tell you, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
