The Humble Seeing and Glad - Psalms 69:32

In Psalms chapter sixty nine David said, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that has horns and hoofs”, and in chapter sixty-nine and verse thirty-two of Psalms David said, “the humble shall see this, and be glad” where we read,

The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

The verse begins, The humble shall see this, and be glad: David began with the words, “the humble” or “the poor, afflicted, meek and needy” “shall see this” which means “will observe, notice, discover and discern the pleasing of Jehovah God through songs of praise and thanksgiving”, “and be glad” or “and exist as joyful, rejoicing, merry and gleeful”. David shared how people who are afflicted, meek and needy will observe the pleasure of Jehovah God over the songs of praise and thanksgiving and will rejoice and be merry themselves.

The verse goes on to say,and your heart shall live that seek God. David continued with the words, “and your heart shall live” or “and your, the inner man, soul, mind, knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory, inclination, resolution, determination, conscience and seat of emotions and passions will be alive, among the living and prosperous” “that seek God” which means “who inquire of, resort to and frequent the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God”. David said the inner man, mind and soul of the people who resort to and frequent Jehovah God will be alive and prosperous.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how David recognized the ability of people who are poor and needy to observe the worship of Jehovah God within songs of praise and thanksgiving, and whoever looks for and resorts to Him will have their inner man, soul and mind made alive. God desires to have a personal relationship with every one through His Son Jesus whom He sent to the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we put our faith and trust in Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and help us to be among the “humble” ones who “seek God”.

Next time David says, “for the LORD hears the poor”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
