Jehovah's Praise According to His Name - Psalms 48:10

In Psalms chapter forty eight David said, “We have thought of your lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of your temple”, and in chapter forty eight and verse ten of Psalms David said, “according to your name, O God, so is your praise unto the ends of the earth” where we read,

According to your name, O God, so is your praise unto the ends of the earth:

your right hand is full of righteousness.

The verse begins, According to your name, O God, so is your praise unto the ends of the earth:” David began with the words, “According to your name” or “In keeping with your reputation, fame and glory”, “O God” which means “O Divine ruler, judge and Supreme God”, “so is your praise” or “therefore right and correct exists your, Jehovah God's, song or hymn of adoration, thanksgiving, renown and fame” “unto the ends of the earth” which means “toward the border and boundary belonging to the land, country, territory, district, region and world”. David said the adoration, thanksgiving and fame of Jehovah God extends throughout the world because of His reputation and glory.

The verse continues, your right hand is full of righteousness.” David added the words, “your right hand” or “your, Jehovah God's, right hand of authority, power and might” “is full” which means “exists as complete, confirmed and accomplished” “of righteousness” or “with rightness, justice, equity and prosperity”. David said the powerful “right hand of authority” of Jehovah God is complete with rightness, justice and equity.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how David recognized not only the reputation and worthiness of Jehovah God to be worshiped, but also the complete fairness and justice within His right hand of authority. God is all-powerful, and He wholly righteous. God knows everything, and He is just in His judgments. God is everywhere present, and He does not exploit or reveal everything He sees. He loves us, and He sent His Son Jesus into the world to be crucified on the cross for the sins that He knows, sees and observes that we commit. He raised Jesus from the dead three days later so when we put our faith and trust in Him to be our “Savior and Lord”, we will be forgiven of our sins and granted everlasting life with Him. Jehovah God is worthy to be praised for His “name” and “righteousness”, and we who yield our lives to Him shall worship Him for all eternity for His “right hand” which is “full or righteousness”.

Next time David says, let mount Zion rejoice, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
