In Psalms chapter fifty Asaph said, “Now consider this, you that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver”, and in chapter fifty and verse twenty-three of Psalms Asaph shared how Jehovah Gods said, “whosoever offers praise glorifies me”, where we read,
Whosoever offers praise glorifies me:
and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.
The verse begins, “Whosoever offers praise glorifies me:” Asaph began with the words, “whosoever offers praise” or “whatever person whether male or female who sacrifices adoration, honor and thanksgiving” “ glorifies me” which means “honors and gives adoration to me, Jehovah God”. Asaph shared how Jehovah God said anyone who sacrifices thanksgiving and appreciation to Him actually honors and adores Him.
The verse goes on to say, “and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.” Asaph continued with the words, “and to him that orders” or “and toward the person whether male or female who puts, places, lays upon, appoints, establishes and fixes” “his conversation aright” which means “his, the person whether male or female, journey, path, manner of life and road way in a correct and right direction” “will I show the salvation” or “shall I, Jehovah God, give attention to, observe and find deliverance, rescue, safety and welfare” “of God” which means “belonging to the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God”. Asaph shared how Jehovah God told the people who would establish their journey and live in a correct manner would be “shown” His deliverance and rescue.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see through Asaph how Jehovah God said people who give thanksgiving to Him actually honor and adore Him, and the person who establishes their living and journey in a correct manner will have Jehovah God give attention to their rescue and deliverance. God loves people, and when they surrender to His Son Jesus, He will forgive their sins, grant them everlasting life and deliver them forever from eternal separation from Him.
Next time we begin a new chapter and see David say, “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindness”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
