Because of God's Temple - Psalms 68:29

In Psalms chapter sixty eight David said, “Your God has commanded your strength: strengthen, O God, that which you have wrought for us”, and in chapter sixty-eight and verse twenty-nine of Psalms David told what happens, “because of your temple at Jerusalem” where we read,

Because of your temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto you.

The verse begins, “Because of your temple at Jerusalem ...” David began with the words, “because of your temple” or “since and on account of your, Jehovah God the Divine judge's, palace, nave and sanctuary” “at Jerusalem” which means “located in the city of Jerusalem whose name means teaching of peace and was the chief city of Palestine and capital of the united kingdom and the nation of Judah after the split”. David referred to the sanctuary located in “Jerusalem” as he presented the following action.

The verse goes on to say, “... shall kings bring presents unto you.” David continued with the words, “shall kings” or “will royal rulers” “bring presents unto you” which means “carry forth and bear gifts offered as a homage to you, Jehovah God the Divine judge”. David said royal rulers will bear gifts of homage to Jehovah God in His “sacred worship place” located in “Jerusalem”.

When we think through the words in this verse, we see how “Jerusalem” was to be the sacred location that royal rulers would bring gifts and offerings to consecrate to Jehovah God. God invites everyone to have a personal relationship with Him through His Son Jesus whom He sent into the world to die for the sins of all mankind. When we receive Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (See 1 John 1:9) We may join these royal rulers and “bring” sacrifices and offerings to Jehovah God and His Son Jesus in Heaven where we shall give praise, honor and glorify for all eternity.
