In Psalms chapter sixty eight David said, “Bless you God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel”, and in chapter sixty-eight and verse twenty-seven of Psalms David said, “there is little Benjamin with their ruler” where we read,
There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council,
the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
The verse begins, “There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, ...” David began with the words, “there is little Benjamin” or “in that place and location exists young, insignificant and ignoble Benjamin whose name means son of the right hand and was the tribe descended from Benjamin who was the son of Jacob” “with their ruler” which means “alongside their, Benjamin's, reigning, dominate and subjugate one”, “the princes of Judah” or “the leaders, rulers, chiefs and captains belonging to Judah whose name means praised and was the tribe descended from Judah the son of Jacob” “and their council” which means “and the tribe of Judah's throng or crowd of people”. David noted the tribes of “Benjamin and Judah” and their rulers making their way toward the sacred holy place of Jehovah God.
The verse goes on to say, “... the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.” David continued with the words, “the princes” or “the leaders, rulers, chiefs and captains” “of Zebulun” which means “belonging to Zebulun whose name means exalted and was the tribe descended from Zebulun the son of Jacob”, “and the princes of Naphtali” or “and the the leaders, rulers, chiefs and captains belonging to Naphtali whose name means wrestling and was the tribe descended from Naphtali the son of Jacob”. David shared how the tribes of “Zebulun and Naphtali” and their leaders were also making their way toward the sacred holy place of Jehovah God.
When we consider the words in this verse, we learn through David about a procession or parade of the tribes of Israel coming to the sacred worship place of Jehovah God. All of Israel was to join in the worship and praise of Jehovah God, and people around the world would be well advised to follow their example. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to be crucified on the cross and raised from the dead so that every person who believes and trusts in Him shall be forgiven of their sins and granted everlasting life with Him. Let all who read these words align themselves in the procession to honor Jehovah God with singing, praise and worship to Him.
Next time David says, “Your God has commanded your strength”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
